Frequently Asked Questions

What does the tour price include?

Our tour prices encompass all transportation, hotel accommodations, transfers, cruise fares (when applicable), services of a Tour Director, luggage handling, local guides, admission to attractions specified in the itinerary, entrance fees, and meals as indicated. Excluded from the tour price are room service, personal tips, on-ship gratuities (if applicable), airline baggage fees (if applicable), and meals not specified in the itinerary.

 

What do the abbreviations "CB," "B," "L," and "D" signify in the itinerary?

These abbreviations denote the meals included each day:

  • CB: Continental Breakfast

  • B: Full Breakfast

  • L: Lunch

  • D: Dinner

Will I have to sit in the same seat throughout the tour?

No, seat assignments on our motorcoach are rotated daily by the Tour Director. This system ensures that friends can sit together and all passengers have the opportunity to experience different seating positions during the tour.

How are tips managed?

Gratuities for luggage handling and local guides are covered by your Tour Director. While not obligatory, gratuities for Drivers and Tour Directors are appreciated at the tour's conclusion. A customary amount is $5 per day per traveler for the Driver and an additional $5 per day per traveler for the Tour Director.

Is smoking permitted on the motorcoach?

Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not allowed on the motorcoach. However, there will be scheduled breaks during the tour when smoking is permitted.

Can I bring a firearm on the tour?

No, firearms are strictly prohibited on our tours.

How much luggage can I bring?

Each passenger is allowed to check one large suitcase. You may also bring smaller carry-on bags to store under the coach or in the overhead compartments; however, these will be your responsibility to manage.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can affect your travel plans. Please note that all tour deposits are non-refundable. Additional payments made beyond the deposit, prior to the final payment deadline, are refundable unless stated otherwise. Cancellations after the final payment has been made will follow our revised Cancellation Policy. Specific tour cancellation policies are listed with each tour, and full terms are available in our catalog and on our website. 


Is travel insurance necessary?

We highly recommend purchasing a travel protection plan to safeguard your investment against unforeseen events, allowing you to enjoy your trip with peace of mind. For your convenience, we offer a travel protection plan through Trip Mate, which provides coverage for trip cancellation/interruption, trip delays, baggage and personal effects, medical expenses, medical evacuation, and more.

Are electric scooters, walkers, and wheelchairs permitted on tours?

We strive to accommodate all passengers in compliance with ADA regulations. Due to activity levels on most tours, we recommend reviewing the itinerary carefully. Electric scooters are permitted on a case-by-case basis due to their size.
